Since 1945, Mahindra and Mahindra or M&M has been producing great cars for the Indian roads. In this article, let's have a look at the car maker's current inventory of new cars in India. Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) is best known for cars in India, but the company is also active in both IT and financial services, steel processing, and infrastructure. The SLX, SLE, XL, XLS, MDI, DI, and VLX CRDe are the different variants it comes in and 2.5-litre engine carried by all these variants suits the Indian roads just perfect. The powerful turbocharged diesel engine delivers 63-68 bhp of power and 180 Nm of torque. Other Mahindra new cars in India that fall in this category are the Mahindra Bolero Camper which is the pickup version of the Bolero and the Mahindra Bolero Pik-Up in three choices - Flat Bed, Flat Bed with Power Steering, and Flat Bed CNG.

The Land Rover Discovery 3 - you'll either love or hate this mammoth of a 4x4 tozw car. I know where my affection lies.

I have long been a fan of Land Rover despite some of the issues that surround these vehicles. I have owned a series of Land Rover Defenders which really are the workhorse of the 4x4 world and many years ago, I briefly owned a Land Rover Discovery as I fancied a little luxury. That experience put me off Land Rover Discoveries, I thought, forever. It was one of the worst cars I had ever owned, it leaked, it rolled all over the road and went rusty at an alarming rate. Despite this, you could see the potential in this vehicle if only Land Rover could have built them properly and applied a modicum of quality control. I sold the Land Rover Discovery after nine months of ownership after a hair-raising journey to casualty one evening with my eldest son.

The last of the Land Rover Discovery Series 2 models had significant improvements with extra roll stability and the advantages of the TD5 engine, however, under the skin was the old Disco and there was no escaping the problems that the later models had inherited. There soon came the launch of the Land Rover Discovery 3 with rave reviews from the motoring press and numerous awards. The shape was bold and aggressive and the new Discovery looked every ounce a mighty 4x4 off-roader. What was different this time was that Land Rover had created a vehicle that was unbeatable off-road but had lots and lots of on-road refinement. I was seriously tempted by this new leviathan and despite my better judgement took the plunge into Land Rover ownership once more. I needed a vehicle that would easily tow a 1.7 tonne twin axle caravan and could get me around in the depths of a Northern Scottish winter. After surveying the competition: Mercedes M Class, BMW X5 and VW Toureg, I purchased a new silver Land Rover Discovery SE TD6 2.7 diesel.

Ford introduces new Ecosport as its first global compact SUV in Brazil and later in Asian markets. Recently, Ford of Europe did the same designed for global market but announced it was his first Kuga compact sport utility vehicle. Both Ford Ecosport and Kuga offer passenger car-like comfort and SUV versatility that deliver superior fuel efficiency, class-leading safety and cutting edge technologies.

Ford of Europe announced that their "experts identified the varied and often conflicting tastes around the world to create an intercontinental call to the first compact SUV the company's global." This applies to both Ford models but Kuga is more comfort and technology inclined in most matured countries as opposed to Ecosport version which is a much simpler and cheaper SUV. So the EcoSport is intended for emerging and is unlikely in mature markets such as Europe, North Amercia and Asian countries where the Kuga will be sold.

The cheaper Ecosport is more welcomed in Brazil in view of the high taxes that slowdown in selling luxury SUVs. Kuga is badly hit as consumers are more likely in search of fuel efficient small SUV. However, in China Kuga is selling as good as Ecosport due to lower taxes. In fact Kuga attracted more attention than Ecosport and apparently selling more when the two compact SUVs were exposed, one beside the other, in the Hall of Beijing during the show.

To create an SUV cheaper and profitable to do in Brazil, Ford designed the EcoSport B on a platform, a compact hatchback with spare tire from the outside. This could save space with this approach but at the same time it also challenges most SUV manufacturers since most of them now no longer carry the spare tire from the outside.

Bugatti Veyron 2013

In the elite luxury car world, Bugatti has been in the lime-light over the last decade because of the company's race car pedigree and the more recent world record breaking production supercar the Bugatti Veyron. Now the company is beginning a whole new chapter and starting to get the motoring world full of interest once again with an all new 1,000 horsepower four door saloon car. This time it will be a production car version which is based on the "Bugatti Galibier 16C" concept car (first seen in 2009), it is now planned to be called the "Bugatti Royale".

Bugatti was founded by Italian-born Ettore Bugatti as a manufacturer of high-performance automobiles in 1909 in Molsheim, Alsace. The company known for its racing pedigree enjoyed many great racing successes, especially in early Grand Prix motor racing, after winning the first ever Monaco Grand Prix. Bugatti's pinnacle of success was with the driver Jean-Pierre Wimille who won the "Le Mans 24 hours" twice (once in 1937 with Robert Benoist, and then again in 1939 with Pierre Veyron).

The company went into a slow decline after the death of "Ettore Bugatti" who died in 1947 and was eventually sold to the company Hispano-Suiza in 1963, since then the company has had various owners and little success as a brand. That was until in 1998 when the German car manufacturer "Volkswagen AG" purchased the rights to produce cars under the Bugatti marque, the famous historical car brand was again back in business and thanks the design and development of the "Veyron" elite sports car, Bugatti once again was back on the most wanted list and in the Veyron's case in the record books.
